Dana Lynne Andersen
Dana is a specialist in Art, Creativity & Consciousness who has taught and exhibited on three continents. As a painter she creates art of astonishing beauty that uplifts the consciousness of the viewer. Her acclaimed artwork has been featured in books, covers of international books & magazines, on television and on display in galleries, civic centers, and international conferences. As a teacher, Dana taps the power of art and creativity to awaken full spectrum knowing and being. A leading expert in the field, Dana has worked with hundreds of students throughout the world to awaken the innate genius of our imagination and creativity. Through Transformative Arts Studios she founded, she has pioneered programs using multi-modality experiences of art and creativity as a means of shifting consciousness.
Dana has a unique ability to kindle the childlike spirit of Joy and possibility. Using simple techniques to free the creative spirit, Dana lovingly guides her students to a liberating authenticity of expression. Through this process, participants are able to experience a deep connection with their own inner guidance and soul vision.
Dana received her bachelor’s degree cum laude in philosophy, and her Master’s Degree in the Study of Consciousness from John F. Kennedy University. Along with her studio work in painting and teaching she has also created multi-media performance works performed at venues such as the San Francisco New Performance Gallery. She is currently writing a book about awakening the power of the creative life.
